Our instructors
The Institute of Massage & Performance is led by experienced educators who combine clinical experience with performance training. Learn about the founders who shaped our curriculum and what their backgrounds mean for your education.

Faculty leadership
Co-founders Bill Parisi and Seth Forman and contributor Dr. Anthony Gencarelli lead instruction and curriculum design. Their combined backgrounds in chiropractic care, athletic performance, and hands-on training shape a program focused on technique, clinical thinking, and professional readiness.

Co-founder
Bill Parisi is the founder of Parisi Speed School and executive director of the Fascia Training Academy. An Iona College graduate, he earned the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) designation through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. His experience includes serving as a graduate assistant strength coach at the University of Florida and as treasurer and a board member of the Fascia Research Society. His career spans more than three decades of performance coaching, professional education, and connecting research with practical training.
Bill brings a practical perspective on fascia, movement, and physical performance. His background offers students a broader understanding of how connective tissue supports the body during everyday activity and sport, helping connect their study of anatomy and soft tissue with the movement demands their future massage clients may face.

Co-founder

Seth Forman is a co-founder and head of education at the Institute. He earned a B.S. in Applied Exercise Science from Bridgewater State College and an M.Ed. in Strength & Conditioning from Springfield College. His background includes work at IMG Academies and founding a private training practice.
Seth's certifications and practical experience in strength and conditioning, martial arts, and health coaching guide the program's emphasis on performance, functional anatomy, and hands-on application.
Education advisor
Dr. Anthony Gencarelli is a contributor to the curriculum of the Institute of Massage & Performance. He holds a BS from Bloomfield College and a Doctorate of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College. Dr. Gencarelli's clinical and academic experience informs the program's focus on medical massage, anatomy, and communicating with other healthcare providers.
